* The Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers’ Association (NSLEOA) has a battery of state-wide attorneys
provided 7days a week, 24 hours a day by the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers [NAPSO] and its
affiliate Communications Workers of America [CWA], AFL-CIO Local 9110. This provides you comprehensive
legal representation for administrative actions, as well as criminal and civil coverage for on duty incidents.
* NSLEOA has a full time President available to all members 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The NSLEOA
President does not work for a state agency, nor does he answer to one. He works for the membership!
* The NSLEOA and affiliates provide registered lobbyists. These lobbyists work for the membership year-
round, not just during the legislative session. They represent NSLEOA members at such meetings as the
Interim Finance Committee, Legislative Commission, Personnel Commission, Board of Examiners and many
others.
* Our union Brothers and Sisters are employed by all state law enforcement agencies, not just one
department. Both sworn and non-sworn support staff of state law enforcement agencies are eligible to join the
Association and received 24-7 protection and representation, and your union dues are tax deductible!!!
* But the most important reason to join NSLEOA………..
“YOU DON’T BUY LIFE INSURANCE WHEN YOUR DEAD”, and you don’t buy job insurance after you
have been called into Internal Affairs or OPR Investigation!
