* The Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers’ Association (NSLEOA) has a battery of state-wide attorneys provided 7
days a week, 24 hours a day by the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers [NAPSO] and its affiliate, the National
Coalition of Public Safety Officers [NCPSO] / Communications Workers of America [CWA], AFL-CIO Local 9110. This
provides our members comprehensive legal representation for administrative actions, as well as criminal and civil
coverage for on duty incidents.
* NSLEOA is affiliated with NAPSO. The NSLEOA also provides you full time Business Agent who is also available 7 days
a week, 24 hours a day. Our association is the only labor organization in the State of Nevada that provides it's members
dual coverage. Therefore the NSLEOA can represent you regardless of who brings charges against you, without a
conflict of interest.
* NSLEOA has a full time President available to all members 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The NSLEOA President does
not work for a state agency, nor does he answer to one. He works for the membership!
* The NSLEOA, NAPSO (CWA Local 9110), NCPSO/CWA and the Nevada State AFL-CIO all provide registered lobbyists.
These lobbyists work for the membership year-round, not just during the legislative session. They represent NSLEOA
members at such meetings as the Interim Finance Committee, Legislative Commission, Personnel Commission, Board of
Examiners and many others.
* Our union Brothers and Sisters are employed by all state law enforcement agencies, not just one department. Both
sworn and non-sworn support staff of state law enforcement agencies are eligible to join the Association and received
24-7 protection and representation, and your union dues, $38.00 per month, are tax deductible!!!
* But the most important reason to join NSLEOA ......
YOU DON'T BUY LIFE INSURANCE AFTER YOU'RE DEAD !!
And you don't buy job insurance after you have been called into Internal Affairs or OPR Investigation or after you have
been terminated!
