Each year in May, Nevada's law enforcement officers make an Olympic type run from Las Vegas to
Carson City. The baton they pass to one another carries the names of Nevada's one hundred and
one fallen officers. It is symbolic of the life they gave for our safety which will always be Apr 26th.
The NSLEOA is proud to be a sponsor and each year we make a donation to the maintenance and
upkeep of the Memorial, but this year we were also honored to be a part of the run by purchasing the
Memorial Runner's tee shirts $2,940.

When the last runner reaches their final destination in Carson City, a ceremony follows which is
always held at the Nevada Law Enforcement Officers Memorial on the Capitol Grounds. This year the
ceremony was on May 3rd at 1 PM. Afterward the NSLEOA President Ron Cuzze presented Frank
Adams with a $1000 contribution to the Memorial. (below)

June 5, 2007 Dear President Cuzze, On behalf of the Nevada Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, I would like to thank you and your organization for the generous donation that you made this May. Paying for the memorial run T-shirts and the donation went a long way in making this year's memorial service a success. This helped tremendously in paying for the costs associated with putting on the annual memorial service and the continued maintenance of the memorial.
