| WINNER OF A REMINGTON SHOTGUN |
NSLEOA member’s only give-away contest which was advertised in the Fall 2006 issue of the Journal.
The only requirements to participate in the contest were active (or active retired) membership in the
NSLEOA, and that a contest entry form was completed and submitted/postmarked by the deadline date of
November 25, 2006. I can tell you that this contest had better odds for winning than you could get in any
Nevada casino or sports book. On December 8, 2006 the NSLEOA gave away the prize for that contest, a
Remington 870 Express Shotgun. The contest winner, selected through a random drawing of all contest
entries submitted by the deadline, was Loren Chapulin. Loren is employed with the Nevada Department
of Corrections. And was he ever happy to get that shotgun! The NSLEOA celebrates Loren’s good well.
Other cool prizes will be offered in future give-away contests. Be sure to read the Journal, and look for
the give-away contest advertisement.
