Homeless Men that were harassing and soliciting the public for money.
One of the homeless men was hiding in a wash and attached Trooper
Chavera with large rocks, throwing them at her. Subject charged her as
she attempted to retreat. Trooper Chavera discharged her firearm, two
rounds were ineffective, and the third struck suspect in the head.
Suspect fell to the ground with one last rock in his hand a few feet
from trooper Chavera. Suspect is in custody , pending trial with several
charges.
